Material and Operational Analysis of Spiral Duct Machine Production Line

Materials used in the production of spiral duct machines

  • The production line of spiral duct machines can be defined as the entire process of forming ducts with one machine independently.

  • Before making ducts, it is necessary to carefully understand the structure and specifications of the ducts on the drawings to avoid waste when cutting the plates. This is also a key step in reducing losses.

  • Irregular-shaped ducts are made first so that the remaining large-format plates can be used in the later production of straight pipes.

  • When connecting spiral ducts with a machine, the distance between them should be as far as possible, especially for small branches, which can be processed according to the length of the plates. This can save the waste of duct accessories and speed up the production process.

  • The edge materials produced during the cutting process of the plates should be used as much as possible above the ducts. The upper surface can be used as long as it does not affect the duct itself due to its concealment.

How to operate and run the spiral duct production line?

The normal operation and operation of the duct production line cannot be separated from the normal operation of the ductwork machinery. Therefore, in order to ensure that the machine works properly and the daily duct production does not suffer from faults and stoppages, maintenance and maintenance of the duct production machine are required. Spiral duct machine manufacturers stated that maintenance of the duct production line should be carried out from the following aspects.

  • The material requirements for the flexible ducts in the duct cleaning system are relatively high, requiring dust resistance, good sealing, and smooth inner walls. The connection between it and the duct equipment is relatively tight, and the appearance of the air outlet is also strict, requiring qualified quality, and the frame and blades must be flat and smooth.

  • When making wind valves, there should be opening and closing marks, and the multi-leaf valve blades need to be overlapped at the joint, and the shaft spacing deviation should be within 1mm. For flexible ducts, the degree of tightness should be appropriate, the length should be within the construction specification range, and it should meet the design requirements. Cracking and twisting are not allowed to occur.

  • For the production requirements of wind caps, the shape should be complete, balanced, and the size deviation should be within 2mm per meter. The rotating parts of the fire valves need to have strong anti-corrosion performance, and the closure needs to be tightly sealed and non-permeable.
